David Tennant will be returning to BBC Radio 4 panel show Just A Minute in January next year. The show's host Nicholas Parsons revealed the news yesterday during his appearance at the Chortle Comedy Book Festival where he shared stories of some of the star names who have appeared on the programme across its 900 episodes.
David made two appearances on the show earlier this year and his debut in February was a record breaking one when he spoke for a full 60 seconds on the subject of Exit Pursued By A Bear. He was the first contestant ever to pull off such a feat on their first appearance.
Just A Minute is a long running panel game in which the contestants are challenged to speak
for one minute without hesitation, deviation or repetition on any subject
that comes up on the cards. Something of a British institution, it has attracted guests from the world of comedy, drama and current affairs including Stephen Fry, Maureen Lipman, Sue Perkins, Bernard Cribbins and John Sergeant.
No information on broadcast date or fellow guests is available yet, but we'll let you all know as soon as we hear. Meanwhile you can listen to David's previous appearances here:
