Good Morning America will have exclusive TV access to the New York City premiere of the Netflix Original Series, Marvel’s Jessica Jones next month.The Emmy Award-winning morning show will be covering the event live as part of their 40th Anniversary marathon broadcast "40 For 40".
The gala launch will be live streamed from the red carpet on November 17th and will include interviews with the series stars as they arrive. Krysten Ritter, David Tennant, Mike Colter and Carrie-Anne Moss are among those expected to appear, plus special appearances from the showrunners and creatives and the casts of Marvel's Daredevil and Marvel's Luke Cage as GMA enjoys some very special access to the Marvel Universe.
ABC News’ Good Morning America presents “40 for 40”, a
40-hour continuous broadcast to celebrate GMA’s 40th anniversary. The epic
event begins on Tuesday, November 17th at 5pm EST and culminates on November
19th at 9am EST. There will reunions of GMA anchors past and present and
special appearances from the likes of One Direction and the cast of The Hunger
Games: Mockingjay Part 2, a look behind the scenes of Dancing With The Stars,
plus much, much more.
Marvel's Jessica Jones is a new 13 part Netflix-exclusive series, adapted by Melissa Rosenberg from the comic book series Alias. Krysten Ritter played Jessica Jones, a former superhero forced into retirement following a traumatic incident. David Tennant co-stars as Kilgrave, a sadistic villain with the power of mind control and Jessica's nemesis. The series launches on November 20th.
