VIDEO: Trailer & New Promotional Photos For Japanese Release Of What We Did On Our Holiday



A trailer has now been posted for the Japanese release in cinemas of What We Did On Our Holiday. The 2014 comedy feature from BBC Films stars David Tennant, Rosamund Pike, Ben Miller and Billy Connolly and will be released nationwide in Japan on Saturday 10th October under the Japanese title 海賊じいちゃんの贈りもの (A Gift From Pirate Grandpa).





What We Did On Our Holiday
The five members of the McLeod family: dad Doug (David Tennant), mum Abi (Rosamund Pike), oldest daughter Lottie (Emilia Jones), son Mickey (Bobby Smalldridge) and youngest daughter Jess (Harriet Turnbull) are heading off on holiday from London to Scotland to celebrate the 75th birthday of Doug's father Gordy (Billy Connolly). However, all is not well for Doug and Abi who are on the verge of divorce. They want to keep this a secret from the rest of the family and are pretending to have a harmonious relationship while the kids are under orders to keep quiet. But they're tired of their parents' squabbles. When the family arrive in Scotland the arguments continue and it's not long before secrets start to spill out. But then a bigger event threatens to tear the family apart and they all have to pull together to keep what they hold most dear.
