The winners of the 2015 TV Choice Awards are announced
tonight at the London Hilton Park Lane Hotel in a ceremony hosted by Lenny
Henry. The TV Choice Awards are the only major TV awards entirely decided by
audience votes, with more than 2 million readers deciding which programmes and
stars will be honoured as the best of the year.
David Tennant has been shortlisted as Best Actor for his
performance as DI Alec Hardy in Broadchurch, an award he previously won for the
same role in 2013. This time round his contenders are Peter Capaldi (Doctor
Who), James Nesbitt (The Missing) and Aidan Turner (Poldark).
David's Broadchurch co-star Olivia Colman is nominated as Best Actress and the series is up for Best Drama. W1A, narrated by David is nominated for Best Comedy Show.
