Press Association Reveals David Tennant As The Most Watched Doctor Since 2005



Stats issued by the Press Association today have revealed that six out of the ten most watched Doctor Who episodes since 2005 star David Tennant, four of which top the chart, making David the most watched Doctor of all.

At number one on the chart is the 2007 Christmas Special, Voyage Of The Damned, which co starred pop princess Kylie Minogue. 13.31 million viewers tuned in to see the adventure.

In second place is the 2008 Christmas Special, The Next Doctor, with 13.10 million viewers, third place was the 50th Anniversary Special, The Day Of The Doctor, which saw David Tennant join up with the Eleventh Doctor played by Matt Smith, 12.80 million of us tuned in to see his return to the TARDIS.
And in fourth place is David's last episode as the Doctor, The End Of Time Part Two, which was watched by 12.27 million when it aired on New Year's Day in 2010.
