Broadchurch Wins Best Drama Series At The TV Choice Awards

The second series of ITV's acclaimed drama Broadchurch has been voted as Best Drama Series in the 2015 TV Choice Awards.

The TV Choice Awards, which are decided by the votes of TV viewers, were presented tonight at the Park Lane Hilton in London. The shows award was collected by David Tennant and his co-stars Eve Myles and Shaun Dooley.

Up on stage to collect the award, David said,
"It all comes back to writer Chris Chibnall, without whom we'd be wandering around under a cliff with nothing to say."

Broadchurch series 2 also starred Olivia Colman, Charlotte Rampling, Arthur Darvill, Andrew Buchan, Jodie Whittaker, Marianne Jean-Baptiste and James D'Arcy. A third series goes into production next year.

A full list of tonight's winners is available here.
