PHOTOS: David Tennant At The HFPA Press Conference For Marvel's Jessica Jones

David Tennant attended a press call and photoshoot at the London Hotel in New York for his new Netflix TV series Marvel's Jessica Jones on Saturday 25th July.

Some shots of David have now been released from the event, which he attended with his co-star Krysten Ritter.

Marvel's Jessica Jones is a thirteen part Netflix exclusive series adapted by Melissa Rosenberg from the MarvelMAX comic book series Alias by Brian Michael Bendis and Michael Gaydos. Krysten Ritter stars as the eponymous Jessica, a former superhero who has retired her secret identity following a personal tragedy and now runs a private detective agency in New York's Hell's Kitchen. David Tennant plays Kilgrave, a dark figure from her past whose return is set to send shockwaves through her world.Also among the cast are Mike Colter as Luke Cage, soon to be the star of his own Netflix miniseries, Rachael Taylor as Jessica's best friend Patsy "Hellcat" Walker and Carrie-Anne Moss as an as yet unnamed possible ally to Jessica. The series is the second of four planned series by Marvel leading into a Defenders miniseries; the first, Daredevil, was released in April. Luke Cage and Iron Fist are set to follow in 2016.

Marvel's Jessica Jones is a co-production of Marvel Television and ABC Studios. It is due to premiere exclusively on Netflix this Autumn. As with Daredevil, all thirteen episodes will be released on the same day.
