Next month sees the launch of Titan Comics thrilling Doctor Who summer comic book event - The Four Doctors!
The special story features all three Doctors from Titan's ongoing series: the Tenth Doctor as portrayed by David Tennant on screen, the Eleventh Doctor (Matt Smith) and the Twelfth Doctor (Peter Capaldi) along with their comic book companions, including Clara Oswald (Jenna Coleman). In addition they'll be joining forces with a shady figure from their own past, the mysterious War Doctor, last seen onscreen in the 50th Anniversary special The Day Of The Doctor where he was portrayed by John Hurt.
The first issue is released in stores and online on Wednesday 12th August and will be supported by the global Doctor Who Comics Day on Saturday 15th August. The story follows straight on from the issue #15 conclusions of Year One, with the second years of the Tenth, Eleventh and Twelfth Doctors beginning after the event's blistering finale!
Doctor Who: Four Doctors is written by Paul Cornell, who has previously penned some of the best loved episodes of the new era of Doctor Who for David Tennant's Doctor (Human Nature and The Family Of Blood) and for Christopher Eccleston's Doctor (Father's Day). Paul has also written many Doctor Who novels and worked on plays for Big Finish.
We will shortly be interviewing Paul about his work on the new series The Four Doctors so if you want to ask him anything about his involvement in creating a brand new of adventure for the Doctor, now’s your chance.
