Renowned actor David Tennant investigates the Bard's tale of
monarchy, madness, murder and suicide, asking what it is about the play's title
character that remains so compelling 400 years after his creation. David, who himself played the role for the Royal Shakepeare Company in 2008-9 talks to other former Hamlets, including Simon Russell Beale, Jude Law and Ben Whishaw, to
discover some of the challenges of playing the vengeful Danish Prince.
