The second season of the internationally acclaimed UK drama Broadchurch begins on TV2 in Denmark at 21.05 on Monday 22nd June. Episodes will continue weekly on Monday nights at the same time.
The returning drama sees David Tennant and Olivia Colman reunite as detectives Alec Hardy and Ellie Miller as the action picks up shortly after the explosive climax of Season 1. With Danny Latimer's killer in custody, the boy's family and the other residents of the small coastal town of Broadchurch are expecting him to be sentenced. However a shocking twist plunges them right back into the nightmare. Meanwhile, a previous case of Hardy's returns to haunt him and he asks Ellie to help him. Reluctant at first, she soon realises that solving the case could be a way to regain her reputation.
Also returning are Jodie Whittaker, Andrew Buchan, Jonathan Bailey, Carolyn Pickles and Arthur Darvill. They will be joined by new cast members Charlotte Rampling, Eve Myles, Marianne Jean-Baptiste, James D'Arcy and Phoebe Waller-Bridge.
If you can't wait to watch, the first episode will be available on TV 2 PLAY from Monday 15th June. The whole series then will be made available online from 22nd June.
There's also a chance to catch up with previous events in Broadchurch. Season 1 will be repeated from Monday 15th June on TV 2 CHARLIE with two episodes per night starting from 21.45 until Thursday 18th.
