The Top Ten Greatest Scottish screen stars are:

1. Sean Connery
2. David Tennant
3. Ewan McGregor
4. Gerard Butler
5. Robbie Coltrane
6. James McAvoy
7. Peter Capaldi
8. Alan Cumming
9. John Hannah
10. Hannah Gordon

The poll was commissioned by Odeon to celebrate the opening of its new seven screen cinema in Fort Kinnaird, Edinburgh on Friday 20th March.

A piece of art work depicting some of Scotland's most famous stars of the screen has been created by Ben Morris to mark the opening.

Andy Edge, Commercial Director at ODEON UK & Ireland said: "Scotland has given us some of entertainment's biggest and most exciting stars throughout the years as this special artwork shows. Film has been missing from Fort Kinnaird for a decade, and we can't wait to bring it back with the opening of our new cinema this week."
