Listeners to tonight's edition of Just A Minute on BBC Radio 4 can hear David Tennant achieve the near impossible: he manages to speak for a full minute on his first ever go at the game.
The long-running radio panel show requires its contestants to talk for 60 seconds without repetition, deviation or hesitation on a given subject. David was presented with the topic 'Exit, Pursued By A Bear', the infamous stage direction from William Shakespeare's The Winter's Tale and his clear round amazes not only veteran presenter Nicholas Parsons but also his experienced co-panellists Stephen Fry, Paul Merton and Julian Clary.
"Can I leave now before I ruin my record?" says David, as he realises what he has achieved.

David will also speak on Iambic Pentameter and Astrology on the show which airs tonight on BBC Radio 4 at 6.30pm.
