The UK's hit crime drama Broadchurch will be returning for a second season to TV ONE in New Zealand in 2015. The network has now posted a trailer and promises that the season premiere will be very soon.
David Tennant and Olivia Colman return as Alec Hardy and Ellie Miller in season 2 of the gripping series which is thought to pick up soon after the shocking events of season 1 where the killer of eleven-year old Danny Latimer was revealed. Also returning are Andrew Buchan and Jodie Whittaker as Danny's grieving parents Mark and Beth, Charlotte Beaumont as his sister Chloe and Arthur Darvill as the Reverend Paul Coates. They will be joined by several new cast members, including Charlotte Rampling, Eve Myles, Meera Syal and James D'Arcy.Broadchurch is created and written by Chris Chibnall and produced by Kudos and Imaginary Friends.
