Broadchurch


Broadchurch filming continued in Clevedon and West BayThe series was named ‘Best In Show’ at the Televisual Bulldog Awards.
New UK channel ITV Encore launched with a Broadchurch double bill and episodes running through the week. The launch was also celebrated with a gala screening of Broadchurch and a Q&A session with script editor Sam Hoyle.
The series continued in New Zealand

Gracepoint
Canada’s Global Network announced that Gracepoint would feature as part of their 2014-15 lineup.

What We Did On Our Holiday


A new trailer and official poster and promotional photos for What We Did On Our Holiday were released.
Following the Cannes Film Festival, it was announced that the film would screen in Germany, Spain, Scandinavia, Japan, the CIS, Israel and the Middle East.
Rosamund Pike talked about how the cast members bonded before the shoot started in 2013.

Doctor Who


David appeared in a clip to promote the cinematic even Doctor Who + Wings in the United States. A full interview was played during the Doctor Who night of the event, and also aired on the Space Channel in Canada.
The Day Of The Doctor won Best Of British at the 2014 Freesat Awards.
Titan Comics released a sneak peek of issues #3 and #4 of the new Tenth Doctor comics. David was one of the contributors to the 250th issue of SFX magazine, talking about Doctor Who. He also spoke to the Space Channel’s Teddy Wilson about his casting in Doctor Who.


The Escape Artist
The Escape Artist premiered on PBS in the United States. Entertainment Weekly named the show as One To Watch and the series was released on Region 1 DVD and Blu-ray. In video clips, David discussed his character and the plot twists. The series continued in Norway.

Postman Pat: The Movie
Postman Pat: The Movie opened in selected cinemas in the USA.

Audiobooks


David’s audiobooks Chitty Chitty Bang Bang And the Race Against Time and How To Steal A Dragon’s Sword were released in the USA.

Radio
David returned to BBC Radio 4 as Sir Walter Scott in a second series of the Classic Serial strand The Great Scott.
