What We Did On Our Holiday
Doug and Abi (David Tennant & Rosamund Pike) are two normal parents with three charming but
highly eccentric children. When the strain of parental life threatens their
sanity and marriage, they decide to take their kids on a trip to Scotland for a
big family gathering and to see Doug's incomparably kooky father Gordie (Billy Connolly).
However what promised to be a holiday of reconciliation soon turns into an hilarious social minefield as feuds, misunderstandings and bruised egos become the order of the day.
When the children cause a completely unexpected turn of events, the family are forced to put aside their differences and work together or else risk losing what they hold most dear.

The American Film Market, which opens today and runs until November 12th, is an industry event aimed at
professionals in the business of independent motion picture production and
distribution. Over 8,000 industry leaders from over 70 countries will be
converging in Santa Monica over the 8-day festival, including acquisition executives,
distributors, film commissioners and the world’s press, to watch more than 700
screenings of approximately 400 films. A screening at the festival greatly increases the chance of What We Did On Our Holiday being picked up by a distributor for theatrical release in the USA.
