What We Did On Our Holiday
Doug and Abi (David Tennant and Rosamund Pike) are two normal parents with three charming but
highly eccentric children. When the strain of parental life threatens their
sanity and marriage, they decide to take their kids on a trip to Scotland for a
big family gathering and to see Doug’s incomparably kooky father Gordie (Billy Connolly).
However what promised to be a holiday of reconciliation soon turns into an
hilarious social minefield as feuds, misunderstandings and bruised egos become
the order of the day. When the children cause a completely unexpected turn of
events, the family are forced to put aside their differences and work together
or else risk losing what they hold most dear.
The film will screen at the Carrión Theatre, Valladolid on Friday
24th October at 9:00 and 19:00 and Saturday 25th October
at 16:30.
