The live overnight ratings are in for last night's American TV and show that David Tennant's new drama Gracepoint got off to a modest start. The series premiere on FOX was in a difficult slot in direct competition with with Packers/Vikings game on CBS Thursday Night Football and top rated ABC drama Scandal.
Gracepoint drew in 4.8 million viewers, rated 3/5m, or 1.2/4 in the 18-49 adult demographic. It was ranked 4th in the 9pm timeslot of the 5 major networks. The show retained 80% of its lead in audience from Bones.
