BAFTA Cymru are launching an exciting series of events which pay tribute to the programme's association with Wales across the programme's 50 year history. The schedule of screenings includes episodes from David Tennant's era as the Doctor.
Six monster themed events will take place in venues around Wales between November 2014 and January 2015, starting with an advanced screening in Cardiff of Death In Heaven, the series 8 finale, which will be attended by cast and crew. The other events will each include a Monster Masterclass and a chance to hear from the creative team working on the series
The programme is part of the BFI's Sci-Fi: Days Of Fear And Wonder season and is co-ordinated by Film Hub Wales and hosted in partnership with BBC Cymru Wales and six key venues around the country. It includes a special screening of the David Tennant episodes The Sontaran Stratagem and The Poison Sky - the Sontaran double-bill takes place at the Scala Cinema and Arts Centre in Prestatyn on Tuesday 16th December.
