The Daily Express give it 3 stars calling it "A lovely set up for a family comedy"


Another 3 stars come courtesy of The Telegraph who praise the film for it's "sincerity and genuine charm"


Screen Daily call it a "beautifully written comedy drama"


"What We Did On Our Holiday is one of the best British comedies in years" says The Daily Star


The Herald call it "a heartwarming and hilarious film" and give it five stars.


And it's a four star review from The Guardian who say "It’s impossible not to enjoy this big-hearted and sweet-natured British family movie"
