The cast and director of Postman Pat: The Movie talk about the appeal of the animated movie in a new featurette released today. Stephen Mangan, David Tennant, Rupert Grint, Ronan Keating and Mike Disa all appear in the clip, newly posted to The Express website. The film follows the much loved children's TV character as he ventures away from delivering letters and into the world of TV talent shows.
"Postman Pat is one of those characters that you feel you've always known," says Stephen Mangan who voices the titular postman in the character's first ever big screen outing.
"Stephen Mangan as Pat is stunning," director Mike Disa says. "This guy is just unbelievable, the depth and layers he brings to the Pat character."
"All the people who've grown up with Postman Pat, whatever age they now are, will be able to take something from this film," adds David, who plays Wilf, Pat's nemesis in the talent show. "It's got a genuine family appeal."
