David Tennant has appeared in a photograph demonstrating his support for the HeForShe campaign.
HeForShe, a solidarity movement for gender equality, is a United Nations initiative aiming to bring together one half of humanity in support of the other half of humanity to the benefit of all.
The United Nations believe that gender equality is not just a women's issue, it is a human rights issue and seeks the agreement of all to stamp out violence, discrimination, blame and objectification in all forms based on gender.
