David Tennant has told how the new star of Doctor Who, Peter Capaldi, often texts him, but admits he couldn't inform him on how to play the role.
"He needs no advice from a whipper-snapper like me," says David, who played the Tenth Doctor from 2005 to 2010. "All we've done is compare experiences. It’s an unusual show to be part of—it comes with a lot of attention, most of which is lovely, some of which is overwhelming. I've been a witness group for him. He’s a brilliant actor and I’m very excited to see him in that part."
David was talking to US publication Entertainment Weekly ahead of the launch of his own new series for Fox TV, Gracepoint, the American remake of Broadchurch. Click here to read the full interview.
