VIDEO: Gracepoint - Jessica Lucas On Renee Clemons

Gracepoint star Jessica Lucas is the latest cast member to present her character in a new video promo clip released by Fox TV.

Jessica plays Renee Clemons, a big city newspaper reporter for the San Francisco Globe who arrives in the tiny northern Californian town of Gracepoint following the murder of young Danny Solano. Smart, determined and manipulative, Renee is determined to get her scoop, but as an outsider she finds it difficult to get a foothold at first. However she soon strikes up a relationship with her local colleague Owen Burke (Kevin Zegers).

"She cares about truth and she cares about justice," Jessica says, "That's what matters and that's what's driving her on a day to day basis...she can push a little too hard but she cares deeply about the story that she's telling.

Ten part event series Gracepoint is based on the UK series Broadchurch and premieres this Fall on Fox starting from Thursday 2nd October at 9pm/8c. The series stars David Tennant and Anna Gunn as detectives Emmett Carver and Ellie Miller, the lead investigators into the murder of a child in a small coastal town. The series also stars Nick Nolte, Jacki Weaver, Sarah-Jane Potts and Virginia Kull. The character of Renee Clemons is based on that of Karen White, originally played by Vicky McClure in Broadchurch.
