UK: Watch Part 1 Of Secret Smile Starring David Tennant On ITV3 Tonight

David Tennant stars as boyfriend from hell Brendan Block in the tense two-part thriller Secret Smile which enjoys a rare re-run on ITV3 tonight. The drama originally aired in December 2005, shortly before David's first full episode in Doctor Who.

Secret Smile follows Miranda (Kate Ashfield), an architect, who meets a man at a party and takes him home for a one night stand, only to find that he is reluctant to let their short relationship end. What ensues is a gripping psychological thriller as her former lover worms his way into the lives of everyone she cares about - with horrifying consequences. The drama is written by Kate Brooke, based on the novel of the same title by Nicci French, and directed by Christopher Menaul.
