Radio Times have given an exclusive first look at the new cinematic poster for the BBC Films comedy feature What We Did On Our Holiday.
New from the team behind the award winning BBC sitcom Outnumbered comes an uplifting, big-hearted and hilarious bittersweet comedy that deals with the ups and downs of family life. What We Did On Our Holiday follows a family as they embark on a summer trip to Scotland for a birthday celebration. However parents Doug and Abi (David Tennant and Rosamund Pike) are in the throes of a messy divorce, something that they are anxious to keep from the rest of the clan. Can they rely on their three loquacious children (Emilia Jones, Bobby Smalldridge and Harriet Turnbull) to keep the secret? And can they hold things together when a shocking event threatens all that is dear to them?
What We Did On Our Holiday is written and directed by Guy Jenkin and Andy Hamilton and also stars Billy Connolly, Ben Miller, Amelia Bullmore, Celia Imrie and Annette Crosbie. It is released in cinemas across the UK on Friday 26th September.
