REMINDER TO VOTE! David Tennant Nominated For Best Actor At The TV Choice Awards

There's not long left to cast your vote for David Tennant in this year's TV Choice Awards. He is nominated for Best Actor - VOTE HERE NOW!  Voting closes 18th July!

He has been nominated for his thrilling performance in the three part legal drama The Escape Artist (BBC One).

In The Escape Artist David starred as unbeatable defence barrister Will Burton whose perfect life is changed forever when he takes on the case of the suspect in a brutal murder case. Sadly neither The Escape Artist itself nor David's co-star Ashley Jensen made it through to the Best New Drama and Best Actress shortlists.

David picked up the Best Actor prize last year for the role of DI Alec Hardy in Broadchurch. This year he faces tough competition in the form of  Benedict Cumberbatch (Sherlock), Allen Leech (Downton Abbey) and Bradley Walsh (Law & Order: UK).

The TV Choice Awards, now in their 18th year, are the only major awards wholly voted on by TV viewers themselves. The winners will be announced live from The London Hilton on Park Lane on Monday 8th September. Although the ceremony is not televised you can keep up with all the action online by following @TVChoice on Twitter and the hashtag #tvcawards.
