NEW ZEALAND: Broadchurch Released On DVD In July

The gripping UK crime drama Broadchurch will be released as a three disc DVD set in New Zealand on Wednesday 2nd July. The eight part series starring David Tennant, Olivia Colman and Arthur Darvill has been airing on TV ONE on Sunday nights.

The small coastal community of Broadchurch is rocked to its core when 11 year old Danny Latimer is found dead on the beach in suspicious circumstances. A police investigation commences headed up by the new Detective Inspector (David Tennant) and the local Detective Sergeant Ellie Miller (BAFTA award winning Olivia Colman). In a town with only a history of petty crime, the community is thrown into chaos as they try to deal with the tragedy, not knowing who to trust, as the national press descends. It appears everyone has secrets, and as the threads start to unravel their seemingly idyllic community is thrown into chaos. A previously naive DS Ellie Miller is forced, with the help of DI Alec Hardy who trusts nobody, to start viewing her town through suspicious eyes as secrets and hidden histories are exposed.
