Kevin Zegers, one of the stars of upcoming FOX TV's Gracepoint has spoken out about the positive experience of working with his co-star David Tennant. He was talking to Sean Plummer of MSN Entertainment during the Shaw Media / Global presentation at the Canadian TV Upfronts this week.
Gracepoint, the ten part remake of UK series Broadchurch, in which David Tennant also starred, is due to première on FOX in the USA and on the Global Network in Canada on Thursday nights this autumn. David plays Detective Emmett Carver, a homicide detective investigating the murder of a young boy in a small Californian seaside town. Kevin plays Owen Burke, a junior local reporter who takes advantage of the media frenzy following the shocking event. The series was filmed on location in the Greater Victoria area of Vancouver Island in a shoot lasting four months.
Kevin said of his Scottish co-star, “David is one of the
most solid guys I've ever met. He has that kind of great British work ethic. He
is in everything in this show. He’d also just finished working on the British
version but is just unrelenting in his work ethic. And so friendly and excited
to be doing this, because it was so different from the British version. He was
great to work with.”
