A new ITV Drama trail which launched on TV in the UK tonight which celebrates the arrival of ITV Encore, the first new ITV channel in eight years. The new pay channel will be dedicated to showcasing the best of contemporary British ITV drama, and will be home to some of ITV’s most successful previously aired series of recent years.
The ad gives some teasers as to what viewers can expect, including a glimpse of Detectives Hardy and Miller (David Tennant and Olivia Colman) sitting on a Broadchurch bench together. Watch the clip here:
ITV Encore will be launched on June 9th and will be exclusively available through Sky, with content also viewable through Sky’s range of connected platforms, including Sky+HD, Sky Go, NOW TV and Sky Store.
Other shows that viewers can expect to see on ITV Encore include Law & Order: UK, Downton Abbey and Foyle's Law.
