The Broadcasting Press Guild Television and Radio Awards recognise outstanding programmes and performances seen or heard in the preceding year. All but three of the 14 Awards are voted for by the membership of journalists writing about TV and Radio. The rest are decided by specialist panels. This year's awards were sponsored by the Discovery Channel.

A second series of Broadchurch goes into production later this year. Read more about the programme on our website.
