The Escape Artist Released On DVD In Scandinavia

The gripping three part drama The Escape Artist will be released on DVD in Scandinavia on Wednesday 2nd April. The thriller was created by Spooks writer David Wolstencroft and was produced by Endor Productions for BBC One and explores the line between the law and justice.

David Tennant stars as Will Burton, a talented junior barrister of peerless intellect and winning charm, specialises in spiriting people out of tight legal corners, hence his nickname – The Escape Artist. Much to the aggravation of his courtroom rival, Maggie Gardner (Sophie Okonedo), Will is in high demand, as he has never lost a case. But when Will’s talents acquit Liam Foyle (Toby Kebbell), who is standing trial for an horrific and high-profile murder, that courtroom brilliance comes back to bite him. Foyle walks free, but he is a serial killer and surely it is only a matter of time until he kills again. The series also stars Ashley Jensen, Stephen Wight and Tony Gardner.

The series will be released with the original English voice track and subtitles in Norwegian, Swedish, Finnish and Danish. It can be pre-ordered now:
