David Tennant Visits Sierra Leone For Sport Relief

Late last year David Tennant visited Sierra Leone to film an appeal video in aid of Sport Relief. It was David's second visit to Africa, the previous one having been in 2011 for Comic Relief.

David witnessed families trying to survive in the most appalling and challenging of conditions but amongst all of the despair and hardship he also found hope and witnessed the better, unselfish side of humanity. Read what he had to say about his visit in his Sierra Leone diary here:

David's visit will be shown as part of the Sport Relief appeal night marathon show which takes place on BBC One and BBC Two on Friday 21st March from 7pm.
