Broadchurch Nominations In RTS West Of England Awards Tonight



The Royal Television Society West Of England Awards take place tonight at the Bristol Old Vic Theatre, and the much acclaimed drama Broadchurch has earned itself yet more nominations

Series creator Chris Chibnall has been shortlisted in the Best Writer: Drama, Factual or Entertainment category. He will compete with Lucy Catherine for Frankie and Stephen Gooder for Leopards 21st Century Cats

Also, cinematographer Matt Gray is nominated in the Best Photography category supported by Films@59. He finds himself up against the Africa camera team who captured images for BBC Natural History’s Africa: Sahara and James Bickersteth for River Monsters.

The Royal Television Society West Of England Awards in association with Evolutions Bristol are held annually to celebrate the best of the region's talent in television and digital media. Categories cover network television, on-screen talent, craft, digital media and regional television news. The ceremony, starting at 7pm, will be hosted by Carol Vorderman.
