In today's Digital Theatre Google+ Hangout ahead of Friday's global watchalong of Much Ado About Nothing, actor Adam James hinted that David Tennant might indeed be returning to Broadchurch after all. He also suggested that he would be interested in a part in the second series of the award winning drama.
In response to a question about whether he and David had any future plans to appear again together, Adam said,
"We would love to work together again...possibly Broadchurch, I don't know, it all depends. Of course we would love to, but it's not entirely in our power to do it. But he's one of my closest friends and we always have a good time...so, who knows, maybe in the second series of Broadchurch if there's a suitable part, if we could pull that together it would be great."
Adam also revealed that he and David had spoken about his possible involvement in the recent RSC production of Richard II.
No casting for Broadchurch 2, has been confirmed yet and Chris Chibnall is still currently writting the series which goes into production in late spring.
