GRACEPOINT: Olivia Colman Would Have Liked To Have Been Asked To Take Part

Olivia Colman has admitted that she would have liked at least to have been invited to take part in Gracepoint even though her schedule might not have allowed her to sign up. The US remake of the hit series Broadchurch includes David Tennant among the cast, reprising his role as the lead investigator into the murder of a young boy in a tiny seaside town.

Talking on The Graham Norton Show, Olivia said, "I'm not in it but I'm busy doing other things. I would quite like to have had the option to say 'no'."

You can watch the interview in full on BBC One tonight at 10.35pm.

Olivia has already stated that she will be returning for the second series of Broadchurch which begins filming in late May; however, no casting or plot details have been officially released by ITV or production company Kudos.

Gracepoint, the American adaptation for Fox, begins shooting on 27th January in Canada. The ten part event series stars David Tennant as Detective Emmett Carver, with Anna Gunn as Ellie Miller.
