Broadchurch Is A TV Highlight For NTA's Host Dermot O'Leary

The Sun's TV Magazine have spoken to the National Television Awards host Dermot O'Leary ahead of Wednesdays ceremony at the o2 in London. And whilst Dermot will have to wait to find out who the winners are along with the rest of us, he shares his highlights of the past twelve months which include David Tennant in Broadchurch.
Talking about the nominees in the new Best Detective award caetogory, which sees David up against his Broadchurch co star Olivia Colman, as well as Benedict Cumberbatch as Sherlock and Idris Elba as Luther Dermot says:
"Out of all the nominees for the TV Detective award, Broadchurch was my favourite show. But here's my problem: David Tennant (DI Alec Hardy) was playing a manic depressive, so he and Olivia Colman (DS Ellie Miller) were dressed down. Benedict Cumberbatch's Sherlock and Idris Elba's Luther are much more stylish. In a style war, theyr'e a dead heat - and both wear great overcoats. An overcoat is very important for a man."

Tune in to ITV tomorrow night from 7.30pm to see the winners announced live.
