Doctor Who Magazine have tweeted that the final ratings for The Day Of The Doctor in the UK were an amazing 12.8 million viewers. This figure does not include repeat viewings or online catch up services.
The Doctor Who 50th anniversary special was the most watched TV show of the week and the second most watched TV show of 2013 so far, the first being the I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here launch show.

It's the 16th highest rated episode of Doctor Who ever. And the highest rated Doctor Who episode since 2008.
