The Royal Shakespeare Company production of Richard II will be shown in US cinemas starting from December 3rd and continuing to January 2nd 2014. The play starring David Tennant and directed by Gregory Doran was recorded live from the stage of the Royal Shakespeare Theatre in Stratford-upon-Avon on Wednesday 13th November and was streamed live into cinemas across the UK.
The live broadcast marks the first of four RSC productions that will be streamed to cinemas around the world as part of the 'Live From Stratford-upon-Avon' series.

Richard II opens at the Barbican Theatre on the 9th December where it plays until 25th January 2014. The run is currently sold out; contact the theatre directly for information about day tickets and returns.
