Doctor Who anniversary episode trailers – they’re like
buses. You wait forever and then two show up at once.
Yes, the BBC have confirmed that this weekend they will
release two trailers for the special anniversary adventure, The Day Of The Doctor.
The first clips from the episode can be seen in a trailer
that airs tomorrow, just before Atlantis
at approximately 8pm, on BBC One. It will be posted immediately afterwards on
the BBC Doctor Who blog. BBC America will also show the trailer at the same time and will also post it
online.
A second trailer will air on Sunday. Versions of this
trailer have been seen at industry events but this is the first time it has
been released in its finished form, complete with the kind of special effects
that help make The Day of the Doctor
so epic. Again, it will be posted to the BBC Doctor Who blog immediately
afterwards.
And don’t forget to check out interviews
with David Tennant, Matt Smith and the cast or enjoy the gallery of images
from the episode.
The Day of the Doctor premieres on BBC One a fortnight
tomorrow, at 7.50pm GMT on Saturday, 23 November (2.50pm ET on BBC America) and will be simulcast around
the world.
