The Escape Artist Is Ratings Winner For Tuesday Night



The first episode of The Escape Artist starring David Tennant topped the evening ratings last night, winning its time slot and outranking all other programming apart from the soaps.

5.02 million viewers, a 22.2% audience share, tuned in to watch the stunning legal thriller at 9pm.

BBC Two comedy The Wrong Mans concluded with 1.83m (7.9%), followed by the Sarah Millican Television Programme with 1.35m viewers (6.2%) at 9.30pm. Also at 9pm, ITV documentary On the Run was watched by 1.53m (6.9%) while the Channel 4 drama Masters of Sex starring Martin Sheen attracted 760k (3.4%).


MediaTel additionally report that The Escape Artist generated 10154 related tweets while it was on air.
