Radio: Listen To David Tennant Read A Night With A Vampire Tonight

From this evening, BBC Radio 4 Extra will be repeating A Night With A Vampire, a series of five short Gothic horror stories read by David Tennant.

Monday 30th September
Dead Persons In Hungary - Antoine Augustin Calmet
An extract from an apparently serious anthropological history of the Vampire throughout Europe in the early 19 century called "The Phantom World." All the people Calmet spoke to were adamant about what they had witnessed. His account therefore appears all the more disturbing and became the basis for the flights of Vampiric fancy that took off in the Victorian age.
BBC Radio 4 Extra – 6.30pm BST

The series was originally broadcast in November 2010 and was produced by Clive Brill for Pacificus

Each episode will be available to play for 7 days after broadcast via BBC iPlayer
