As week four of rehearsals begin for the Royal Shakespeare Company's production of Richard II starring David Tennant, John Wyver of Illuminations has published the latest in his weekly production blogs. John will be working with director Gregory Doran and the RSC to bring the production to cinema screens worldwide from November.
This week John explains how the cast have started to work on the detail of scenes and have been working with the RSC’s Head of Text, Voice and Artist Development Lyn Darnley. They have also begun their costume fittings.
The latest video diary covers the cast and creatives' visit to Westminster Hall and includes medieval historian Helen Castor's reflections on Richard II. Watch it below:
