Nigel Lindsay has been talking to the Jewish Chronicle Online about how he will be juggling two very different theatre roles over the next couple of months.
Nigel, who will co-star with David Tennant, Oliver Ford Davies and Michael Pennington in Richard II for the Royal Shakespeare Company from October 10th, is also performing as Barry in Nick Payne's new Play The Same Deep Water As Me at the Donmar Warehouse in London's West End.
“I’m going to do Richard II for the RSC with David
Tennant playing Richard,” he said. “I’m playing Bolingbroke, one of the 10
biggest roles in Shakespeare.
“It’s going to be weird because in the evening I’ll be
playing a Luton lawyer and during the day I’ll
be rehearsing the future Henry IV. The voices are very different. I've not been
in the situation before. I’m looking forward to it but I’m going to need a bit
of help from Greg Doran, the director.”
The Same Deep Water As Me opened on August 1st and runs until September 28th, and also stars Daniel Mays, Marc Wootton and Monica Dolan. Click here for more information

open at the Royal Shakespeare Theatre, Stratford-upon-Avon
