David Tennant will be appearing live on stage for the guest panel following the screening of The Stolen Earth and Journey's End at The British Film Institute South Bank on the 29th September. Paul McGann will also appear in person at the Eighth Doctor event on October 5th when the Doctor Who TV Movie will be shown. Both screenings are taking place as part of the BFI's Doctor Who At 50 celebrations.
The attendance of both stars was announced just before today's tribute to Christopher Eccleston's Ninth Doctor.
Justin Johnson, the man behind the monthly Doctor Who At
50 season, told Radio Times today: “We’ve been so lucky because by the end of
the year we’ll have had approaching 100 guests who have all worked on the show
and have given up their time so generously.
“But there’s always something especially exciting when you know
that the Doctor himself is coming along and we are so thrilled that David
Tennant and Paul McGann will be joining us on the BFI stage to help
us celebrate and to talk about their time on the show.”
Details about both the events can be found on the BFI website. Unfortunately both screenings sold out almost immediately, even before any guests were announced.
