This Summer Holiday the Royal Shakespeare Company inStratford-upon-Avon
is offering audiences and visitors activities for all the family to find out
more about making theatre. Inventive theatre company The Wrong Crowd is in
residence for one week offering a range of activities for families inspired by
the current costume exhibitions at the RSC In Stitches. Other workshops
include how fake wounds are created in stage make up demonstrations and acting
and fight workshops. Plus the RSC's outdoor theatre in Stratford-upon-Avon ,
The Dell, plays host to a range of community and semi-professional productions
throughout the summer weekends.

Each morning try our simple costume templates that you can then decorate and wear as you explore the rest of the costume exhibition. From a crown and cuffs or ears and a tail, there will be something for everyone to make. Please note, this activity requires using scissors, so younger children may need assistance from an adult and should not be left unattended.

Join The Wrong Crowd for the evening as they lead you on a magical night of costumes and stories. The evening will begin with costume making inspired by the In Stitches exhibition, bringing them altogether for a parade. We'll then to settle down for the night, in one of the most magical buildings in theatre, to hear bedtime stories.

On weekends throughout the summer, the Royal Shakespeare Company's outdoor theatre inStratford-upon-Avon , The Dell,
plays host to a range of lively student, community and semi - professional
productions. Performances kick off on Saturday 8 June, and continue until
Sunday 1 September. The Dell is situated on the banks of the River Avon in Avonbank Gardens ,
near Holy Trinity Church .

to the viewing platform. The Tower is open daily from 10am until 4pm. Please
note the Tower may be closed around Matinee performances in the Royal
Shakespeare Theatre.
