ODEON cinemas in the UK are the latest chain to announce selected venues that will be screening the live stream of Richard II from the Royal Shakespeare Theatre in Stratford-upon-Avon on November 13th.

(the fastest selling show in the RSC's history), with David Tennant in the
title role and directed by RSC Artistic Director Gregory Doran.
Richard is King, ordained by God to lead his people. But he is also a man of very human weakness. A man whose vanity threatens to divide the great houses ofEngland
and drag his people into a dynastic civil war that will last 100 years.

Richard II will also be streamed to cinemas in North America, Northern Europe, Japan and Australia. Venues and dates will be announced later this month on the RSC On Screen site
Richard II opens at the Royal Shakespeare Theatre, Stratford-upon-Avon
on 10th October 2013 and will run untill 16th November 2013. It will then
transfer to the Barbican Theatre in London
from December 9th 2013 until 25th January 2014. The production also stars Nigel Lindsay as Bolingbroke, Michael Pennington as John of Gaunt and Oliver Ford Davies
as the Duke of York . Tickets are still available for some London dates, bookable through the RSC or the Barbican Box Offices.
