According to Herald Scotland, Annette Crosbie is the latest addition to the known cast of What We Did On Our Holiday. The comedy film stars David Tennant, Rosamund Pike and Billy Connolly and has been shooting on location in Scotland since June.
Annette Crosbie is a noted Scottish actress of both stage and screen. She will be most familiar to TV audiences as Margaret Meldrew, long-suffering wife to Victor in One Foot In The Grave, and she has also appeared in Little Dorritt, Jonathan Creek and Doctor Who - The Eleventh Hour.
What We Did On Our Holiday follows the misadventures of divorcing couple Doug and Abi McLeod, played by David Tennant and Rosamund Pike, as they undertake a chaotic trip with their three children up to Scotland to celebrate the 75th birthday of Doug's father Gordy (Billy Connolly). The film also stars Celia Imrie, Ben Miller and Amelia Bullmore, with young actors Harriet Turnbull, Bobby Smalldridge and Emilia Jones as Doug and Abi's children. The film is written and directed by Andy Hamilton and Guy Perkin, the creators of BBC One's Outnumbered, and is co-produced by BBC Films and Origin Pictures with additional backing from Creative Scotland. It is scheduled for a 2014 release.
What We Did On Our Holiday will be filmed entirely on location in Scotland and filming is is to continue until early August. David Tennant is expected to complete work on the film this week. Yesterday, Billy Connolly was spotted shooting scenes at Blair Drummond Safari Park near Stirling
