Spies Of Warsaw Comes To Arte In Germany



Spies Of Warsaw will be shown on Arte in Germany in May. The wartime drama series, adapted from the novels of Alan Furst and set in the years before the Second World War, stars David Tennant as Jean-François Mercier, the French military attaché to Warsaw  who also runs a covert network of spies. His work is further complicated when he falls in love with Anna, a League Of Nations lawyer, played by Janet Montgomery. 

The German title of the drama will be Die Spione von Warschau and both parts will be shown on Friday 17th May on Arte starting from 8.15pm CET for Part 1 and 9.45pm CET for Part 2.

The series is repeated on Monday 27th May (Part 1) and Tuesday 28th (Part 1) at 2.05pm

  1. And they needed to dubb it again... Why is German TV always so frightened about showing originals? I know why I would rather pay a UK license fee... ;)
