A total of 7.27 million armchair detectives watched the penultimate
episode of Broadchurch on ITV last night. A massive 6.93 million viewers (27.7%
of the audience share) tuned in to ITV at 9pm to see David Tennant and Olivia
Colman closing in on the murderer of schoolboy Danny Latimer 9pm, with 342,000
(1.9%) catching up on ITV+1.
On BBC One, new documentary series The Prisoners drew 3.58m (14.3%), while BBC Two’s Documentary Fit to Rule: How Royal Illness Changed History was watched by 1.78m (7.1%). Channel 4’s latest reality TV offering The Hoarder Next Door attracted 1.76m (7.0%) and Robson's Extreme Fishing brought 877k (3.5%) to Channel 5. The Sky Atlantic series Game of Thrones brought in 527k (2.2%).
