Doctor Who Adventure Sleepover At Manchester Library

Here's your chance for you and the kids to spend a spooky night in the company of the Tenth Doctor and the Vashta Nerada. The University of Manchester John Rylands Library are staging a special family sleepover event which includes a screening of the double episode Silence In The Library and Forest Of The Dead along with some very special activities and a costume competition.

Manchester University say:

Friday 17th - Saturday 18th May 2013, 5pm - 9am.

Dare you stay in the Library overnight?? Join us for aDoctor Who adventure night!

Watch two fantastic Doctor Who episodes - 'Silence in theLibrary' and 'Forest of the Dead'.

Make your own Journal of Impossible Things, take a torch-littour of the Library, solve the mystery of the missing TARDIS and then sleep inthe Historic Reading Room - if you can!

Come dressed as your favourite Doctor Who character - thebest costume will win a very special prize. Who will you be?!

Children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.Activities are most suitable for families with children aged 8-14, all welcome.

A picnic area will be available in the Café, no food ordrink is allowed in the Historic Reading Room. Café Rylands will open early onSaturday morning for breakfast.

The Doctor Who episodes are both rated PG.
